This is the one that started this madness. It is our first release for 0605 Records available on 7" vinyl, and we love it. Leeds punk rock, mixing up hardcore punk rock with electro and 80s synths. But don't just take our word for it, see what these freaks had to say about it:
"‘Rich Kids Playground’ is the first single from Autopsy Boys’ new album ‘Def Elements’. To fully grasp the concept of this just-over-2-minute-long blast of frenetic energy, I highly recommend multiple viewings of the blood-soaked mini-horror-movie that these lads from Leeds have crafted under the guise of a music video to enhance the overall experience. Musically, there is nothing NOT to love here. The verses and the bridge are strongly reminiscent of one of my all-time favorite bands, Into Another, and if that isn’t Lou Koller from Sick Of It All singing on the choruses… well, it isn’t, but it damn well could be! Throw a little thrash into the mix (Anthrax-ish riffing, Slayer-ish 8-second guitar solo) and top it off with clearly-displayed love both for filthy punk rock (the best kind) and horror movies (the video was inspired by ‘Scanners’)… well, the end result for me is a deeply satisfying slab of sing-along punk rock that will fit perfectly onto any (read: every) old-school mixtape that I’ll be making for the next dozen years or so. (Yes, I still make mixtapes. Some things are too important to let go of.) Next stop: ‘Def Elements’…."

"Infused with the gonzo, speed-punk etiquette of the Seattle hardcore scene of the ‘80s, Autopsy Boys merge Dwarves-esque energy with the Oi punk of acts like the Exploited to create a furious little bundle of noise. In two minutes and twelve seconds it gets straight to the point – and has enough of a hook to give you cravings for more."
